Zambia Shanty Community Development Organisation (ZASCODEO) is a non-profit, non-government organisation. It was established on October 12th, 1996 in order to participate in community development in view of the many social and economic problems in peri-urban and shanty dwellings of Zambia.

Our vision is to see that communities grow to be self-sufficient and that the livelihoods within these communities are improving economically and socially.

Our mission is to provide activities that will facilitate community development towards good health, self-sufficiency, and public success that comes through community participation.
